Former Liberian dictator Charles Taylor now considers himself a Jew. At least he also still considers himself a Christian.

The world would have been a lot better served had Taylor actually taken either one of these religions seriously.
Neither one, so far as I can tell, would have found his conduct of his own life, and that of the state he ran into the ground, remotely compatible with the fundamental principles of their religion.
